April 17, 2007 – The Senate Committee on Criminal Justice held a public hearing that addressed SB 1448 (West, D-Dallas), which would have established a statewide repository for state racial profiling reports, as well as a standardized reporting format for reports. TCJC testified in favor of the bill.
May 8, 2007 – The House Committee on Criminal Jurisprudence held a public hearing that addressed SB 1448. TCJC testified in favor of the bill.
