Substance Abuse Supervision Program (SASP)

The Parole Division provides SASP programs for TDCJ releasees who have not been to an In Prison Therapeutic Community (IPTC) or Substance Abuse Felony Punishment (SAFP)Facility, but who have substance abuse problems. Qualification for this is determined through self-admission, a positive drug test, or Board-imposed special condition.
